Our mission at St James' CE Junior school

We will help all our children become the best that they can be – happy, healthy, confident, independent and fulfilled in all areas of their lives

We will achieve this by providing a first-class education while nurturing our values of courage, honesty, forgiveness, trust, friendship and cooperation. As a Church school, we will promote these values within our caring, Christian environment.

We believe:

Our children learn best when they are happy.

All our children should be challenged and stimulated every school day.

Our children’s parents and carers have a vital role to play in helping us achieve our goals.

We will:

Value the unique qualities of all our children encouraging and developing these every day.

Encourage parents and carers to participate actively in their child’s education.

Deliver the best education that we possibly can for each child. No exceptions, no excuses.
