Tudor Day

Tudor Day - year 5.

On Wednesday the 24th of March, Tudor day commenced.
We started off in a Tudor Market place. There were 12 stalls each holding a different activity. There was a candle making workshop, two surgeon workshops including drilling holes through people’s heads, and lots more. Anthony had to be punished for stealing charcoal from the school mistress. Also Maddy had to eat maggot infested meat for leaving the ice house door open.

In the afternoon there was a banquet. Some people were chosen to sit at the top table and eat from silver plates. Everyone got to drink from goblets but we had to share plates. We also had lots of entertainment from two plays, singing, dancing and jesters and jugglers.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped in this fabulous occasion.
