Isle of Wight 2019

MondaySun is shining, children in cabins unpacking before dinner & camp fire.  Hopefully the sun will continue to shine tomorrow.  Everyone went to camp fire before retiring to cabins to sleep.

Tuesday - After a great breakfast, groups headed off to abseiling, low ropes, aeroball, Jacobs Ladder, fencing and problem solving.  Sadly the forecast proved to be correct and it began to rain, but hasn't dampened spirits.  Everyone now enjoying some free-time before lunch and an action packed afternoon.  Hopefully the sun will return.  Another downpour, but we all kept going and had a great afternoon canoeing, problem solving and orienteering.  After dinner, all groups took part in Passport to the World before beginning the process (slow!) of going to bed.
Wednesday - Slower, sleepier start this morning, but after a good breakfast to wake everyone up, groups set off to their activities.  This morning groups set off to the beach to canoe, while others took part in archery, survivor and sensory trail.  No rain, but the sun is still hiding!  Off to lunch soon and then a full afternoon and evening.  More groups went canoeing, did aeroball, survivor, abseiling and archery.  Cluedo is this evenings activity - lots of running around involved in teams.
Thursday - Sleepy campers this morning!!  Full morning of activities, lots of climbing, archery and groups canoeing.  Busy lunchtime and then heading off to afternoon activities including the new vertical challenge, which looks really good.  We will then begin packing and clearing up before taking group photos at the creek and going to, the much anticipated, disco.  Tomorrow will start early as everyone will need to be up, packed and have their cabins clear before breakfast and the final two activities before the coaches pick us up and we head home.
Will try and update regularly, but internet connection not great.
