|The first Celebration Assembly of 2018 was led by Mr Tutt and began with prayers led by 3L and the hymn 'Shine Jesus Shine'.|
|Golden Awards: Yoji, Finlay, Tia, Manon, Molly, Eleanor T, Mohammad, James E, Aayanan, Darcy, Daniil G & Callum.|| |
| ||Congratulations to the following, who have all received Golden Awards. In Year 3: Yoji, for being an excellent talk partner, being very supportive and helpful: Finlay S, for working so hard on his handwriting at home over the holidays and Tia, for an amazing effort and great improvement in her handwriting. In Year 4: Manon, for her sensible independent work - especially in maths: Molly S, for her excellent attitude to learning and always doing her best and Eleanor T, for a brilliant dance contribution to the Year 4 Christmas play. In Year 5: Mohammad, for coming back to school in 2018 with an improved attitude to learning and being very helpful: James E, for his lovely, even, piece of handwriting - beautiful! Aayanan, for his amazing mathematical knowledge this week and a positive start to the new term. In Year 6: Darcy, for challenging herself in every aspect of school life: Daniil G, for a really positive and enthusiastic start to 2018 and Callum A, for being an excellent learner and always doing her best. || |
|Maths Factor Challenge: Dylan, Year 4.|| |
| ||Congratulations to Dylan, in Year 4, who has gained a medal for completing his on line maths factor maths, after completing 30 days he got sent a medal which he proudly showed to everyone. || |
|Piano Award: Hannah, Year 6 & Daisy, Year 4.|| |
| ||Many congratulations to both Hannah, in Year 6 and Daisy, in Year 4, who have both just taken and passed piano exams with the Association of the Royal School of Music. Hannah passed Grade 5 and Daisy passed Grade 2, with merit. || |
|Shell Award: 3L & 4S|| |
| ||Congratulations to 3L & 4S, who are the joint winners of the Shell Award this week. They will both be able to have some additional free time at the end of the week and be able to go on the bank on Friday at both break and lunch.|| |
|Tonbridge Panto: Jasmine & Flora, Year 4, Honor, Year 3 and Sophia, Year 6.|| |
| ||Congratulations to Jasmine & Flora in Year 4, Honor in Year 3 and Sophia in Year 6, who all took part in the Tonbridge Panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, at Tonbridge School. Jasmine and Honor were both dancers and Sophia and Flora were villagers; they all had to sing, dance and act. || |
